Omega Peanut Shelled Skin Off: raw skinless peanuts for roasting, peanut butter, satay and poha. Single 1 kg pack.
Shelled skin-off peanuts are raw peanuts without shells or red skins, ready for cooking. Roast them for snacks, grind them for homemade peanut butter, or crush them over pad Thai, salads and noodle dishes. They thicken West African peanut stew and satay sauce, and fried peanuts are popular in poha, chivda and chikki. Roast slowly and stir often, as peanuts burn quickly at the edges. The peanut, also called groundnut, is a legume whose seeds grow in underground pods, and it is not a true tree nut. Keep raw peanuts in a sealed container in a cool, dry place, as warmth and damp can spoil them. Roasted peanuts are crushed over pad Thai and Vietnamese salads, ground into satay and West African groundnut stew, and fried into poha, chivda and chikki. They make an excellent homemade peanut butter.
